A SUITable Affair

Hello my fashion lovers..

Over the past couple of months I have totally been obsessed with men in suits. Any man in a tailored, fitted, crisp suit just makes my heart skip a beat.. or two. From the likes of Common to Drake, many men have rocked suits in many different styles and boy do they work it!

Crisp, clean and fresh

Now I believe that a suit gives a man that incredibly sexy appeal which can pass as the grandest form of 'swag' I've ever witnessed.
Ladies I'm sure that you all agree that men in suits are just unbelievably breathtaking.

Ain't nothing like a well fitted tux

So to all the fine men out there, suit up and spoil yourselves a little. A man is to a suit, what a woman is to lingirie. The ladies will love you more. Trust!

What to do? What to waer?

My birthday is coming up soon and I was thinking of having something a little mature for a change besides the usual celebratory drinks. Something along the lines of a high tea?

If I do, here is how I imagine it will be. My guests and I in a serene garden showing off Chanel Cruise Versailles collection frocks or Abigail Betz's "Stepford wife" inspired dresses, perhaps even with those crappy disposable accessories we call men? (Allow me!)

Lindiwe Suttle

Hi my sweet cakes

I know it has been a while but mama Coco was away getting her academic life together, but all is well and I am back to feed you more of your favourite fashion pastries.

Lindiwe Suttle

Can we have a conference about Lindiwe Suttle? She is a former stylist turned musician and fashionistress who is currently making waves here in SA. I love her, she is a like South Africa's cross between Grace Jones and Lady Gaga.

Doing her music Thang

An explosive package of sexy that I just want to steal and put my god damn pocket. Wait a minute, am I having a major girl crush? well you can't blame me. Ok, besides her fashion and visual appeal, the Tom Ford shades ambassador is doing exceptionally well in the music front with her debut Man Made Moon.

Who gon' check her boo?

Anyway, during my study break I got a chance to watch the We Found Love music video by Bajan Pop Princess Rihanna aka Rhi Rhi. My oh my! But this video is deep, fast and bad ass. All the things yo mama told you not to do are in this video! Is it me or does this video make doing drugs with your hot boyfriend look cool and glamarous?..hai but it still remains drugs are bad for you, kindly stay away!

What really caught my though was the cute lil two piece that she was wearing Scott sumthin...I'm not really sure what the dudes name is, but yeah, I loved it. Thought I should ramble about that for now...

Street Style Sensation: Neezy F Bebe!

So, it has come to my realization that most of the time, we tend to associate fashion trends, styles and looks with "celebrities". Street style fashion individuals, with their own unique looks, are not given credit in that respect. I will be appreciating some dope ordinary people with a mad sense of style. ( I would include myself in this feature but I'm just too fabulous, I don't wanna outshine anybody, LOL).

Urbam Swag

The first street style sensation we are going appreciate goes by name goes by name of Neezy. (Haha quite a charcter this one, and his personality shines through his style). Neezy is one of the rare guys who really rock that hip hop inspired look without  looking tacky and bringing a ghetto cheapness to it. I would say he's got the Pharell "Skate Board P" look going on, hehe. There is nothing worse than a hip hop inspired look that is totally ghetto and tasteless....come on this is not Harlem! EPIC FAIL! I like the fact that neezy wears his pants proper-your pants don't have to hang to pull off the hip hop swag. However, Neezy's look is "fresh to def" with a touch of classy retro funk that works so well for him.

That Skate Board P inspired look

He describes his style as, "mainly classy  hip hop" influenced with a bit of a "Neezy Twist". For the spring/summer season he plans to tone down on colour and throw a single bright colour to highlight his outfit and give it a lil contrast.

"Well this season I'm tryna keep it colourful by sticking to four colours, being white, light brown, black and my favourite colour, red. He also plans on rocking wife beaters and shorts.

To him fashion is about self expression, " you can tell alot about my mood by the way I dress on that particular day. The fact that he defines fashion on his own terms, Neezy is able to identify and adopt his style, which he successfully continues to rock!

See fashion does not always have to revolve around shelebs, find your own inspiration and style and rock it baby! *Holds drink in the air*
